Melia got upset, but then she remembered what
her Dad always told her.
He would say, “Melia, love as understanding is
nonviolence. Therefore, if someone hurts you
or hurts your feelings, then you should never
hurt them back because love does not hurt
others. If you can be nonviolent in adversity,
then it means you have great strength and
power.”
