The tree’s roots took on a life of their own and
showed such determination in finding water.
The roots squeezed through rocks, broke
through the clay soil, and even spread above
ground in order to help the tree grow.
And grow it did. The tree became big and
beautiful and gave shade to all those who sat
under it.
